The E.S.T.H.E.R. Project is an after-school program created by Victoria Mirimanian. The purpose of this program is to positively impact the lives of elementary aged girls in the Quitman Independant School District. Built upon biblically-based priciples, The E.S.T.H.E.R. Project strives to teach and train students about the importance of excellence, service, trust, honor, etiquette, and responsibility — E.S.T.H.E.R. being the acronym of these principles.
The program is now in its third year, and the response has been overwhelming. Currently the program receives no funding, either from QISD or grants, but only by the generous donations of private citizens and companies in the east Texas area. Mrs. Mirimanian does not currently receive any compensation for her efforts, and yet gladly serves these young ladies and gives them the hope of a better life. Many of the students come from poverty, abuse, neglect, and other tragic circumstances, please consider supporting this needed outreach.
