Tie One On For Safety (TOOFS) is MADDs longest running and most visible public awareness project, the original red ribbon campaign that asked people to tie a ribbon on their car antennas. Our message is still strong: drive safe, sober and buckled up.

MADD East Texas incorporates this messaging in a community-wide luncheon and awards banquet that delivers all aspects of MADDs mission and honors local law enforcement and community leaders. Traditionally, TOOFS kicks off the winter holiday season, a time when more traffic is on the roads and vehicle crashes are at their highest.
